Built-In Keyboard Firmware Update Available for Both MacBooks and MacBook Pros

Apple recently released software updates for both iTunes and the built-in keyboard firmware found on MacBooks and MacBook Pros. The following is the wording used in a message that appears prior to installing the keyboard firmware.
The Built-In Keyboard Firmware Update will update the keyboard firmware on your MacBook or MacBook Pro.
Important: Do not interrupt the update, your keyboard will not function while it is being updated.
To update your keyboard firmware:
1. Your computer’s power cord must be connected and plugged into a working power source.
2. Save all open documents and quit all other open applications.
3. Click Update below, a status bar will indicate the progress of the update.
When the update is complete a dialog box will show that the firmware was successfully updated, and then you may resume using your keyboard.
