The Annoyance of SPAM

Over the past few months Novel Image Support Forums has increasingly been bombarded with spam. It has had a significant impact on the day to day operations of novelimage.com. Managing and maintaining the site’s support forums has become another full-time job that is causing the neglect of other important sections of the web site. Until further notice the topics at http://www.novelimage.com/forums will be locked. Visitors can still view questions and user feedback for all topics, but I am temporarily putting a freeze on user activity.
As my preferred choice for open-source bulletin board software, bbPress will soon replace phpbb2. With the imminent change maintaining the forums and blogs shall once again become a worthwhile effort.
